Citi Digital Innovation Challenge

The evaluation phase is a critical part of the Hackathon. Ideas received during the Phase 1 (Online Idea Submission) are screened and shortlisted for Phase 2 (Prototype Submission).

HackerEarth and Citi Solutions Centers India will follow a set of pre-defined criteria as part of the evaluation process for Phase 1 of the Hackathon.  

NOTE: The decision of the jury will be final and binding. 

Evaluation parameters for idea phase:

• Scalability and overall difficulty
• Simplicity of execution of your idea 
• Elaborative self-explanatory design
• Stability of the prototype
• Comprehensiveness/ intuitiveness of the app in terms of functionality, design and working
• Impact 
• Practical use potential of the application
• Viability in a global context
• Relevance to global masses
• Concept and innovation
• How novel and innovative is the idea?
• Originality, creativity, and intent of the concept
• Relevance of pain points that the candidate's idea is trying to address
• Maturity of the technology used
• Usage of API
• Functionality
• Design aesthetics
• Code quality
