Rules

  • Eligibility Criteria: Working Professionals with a minimum of 1+ Years of Experience.
  • You may participate as an individual or as a team. You can have at most 3 members in your team
  • This Hackathon is open for Indian citizens, residing in India
  • The theme of the Hackathon is “Building the best digital bank of the future” with 3 sample areas to work in. You may choose to explore any other area under the same theme of digital banking
  • The IDEA SUBMISSION (Phase 1) will start on January 28, 2022 10:00 AM IST and end on March 06, 2022 11:59 PM IST. You will have to submit the idea during the allotted time only
  • The PROTOTYPE SUBMISSION (Phase 2) will start on March 25, 2022, 10:00 AM IST and end on April 17, 2022, 11:59 IST. Only the shortlisted teams/individuals will be invited to submit the working prototype of their ideas in this phase
  • Post the completion of the Ideation phase, we will evaluate and shortlist TOP ideas for the Prototype phase. If shortlisted, this is where you will have to submit your working models
  • You can submit as many times as you want, but the last hack will be considered as the final submission
  • You may ideate across one or many areas listed by us, or explore other areas under the theme
  • You are expected to submit new, innovative, and original ideas. Any idea that has been copied from another source will be disqualified, and Citi will not be held liable for any infringement in such a case
  • Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open-source libraries and other freely available systems / services and softwares that are permissible for free use under law such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc. 
  • Citi shall exclusively, in perpetuity and on a worldwide basis, have the right to all new, innovative and original ideas (‘IP’) submitted by the participants - be it in the Idea Submission phase or the Prototype Submission phase and the participants shall not have any claims (past, present, future) on the IP. Please ensure you read and agree to the CONSENT FORM before you register.
